Myth Bangers about INVESTING

I am sure you must have heard this as a child many a times. That the best way to get rid of your financial troubles and bring prosperity in your lives is to worship Goddess Lakshmi on Fridays. There is even a name for this Goddess - VAIBHAV Lakshmi . Though I do not believe in this superstition, I didn't want to take chances. So I decided to talk about my experiences related to finances on a Friday with #flirtyFridays . Maybe that's my way of worshipping the Goddess. For all those KoolKanyas out there, whether you are a student, a working professional or an industry expert, this is about what I went through before I took the plunge into investing. Every one might have a different reason, a different story and even a different goal. But what binds us is that we are in this together as women. If you have read my earlier posts, you already know how, when and why I started saving. Today, how about I share a few myths and how I banged them before I started investing? Read on. #MYT

Wassup! You must be gearing up for the weekend. And for those who have come to the stage where weekend or no weekend makes not much of a difference, welcome to the club! We are all together in this. As I was saying earlier, yesterday's session stirred up few unknown emotions within me and now you can stop yourself from reading further but you can't stop me from writing. There were many little pointers that impacted me and I could instantly relate to the time when I started investing back in 2016. But the one that touched me the most was the fact that Women are better FINANCIAL MANAGERS and DECISION MAKERS than Men. Not just because an expert said so, or analysis says so, but because I actually felt it. I am sure everyone of us likes Money. Earning it, spending it, yearning for it, wishing it were never there at times. I will have to accept that I am guilty. Guilty of thinking about my future finances a little too late. I mean 36 is a little late to think about your finances

Do's & Don'ts of DIGITALISM

Just another breezy day. Where thoughts flow like a breeze and the silence of the winds screams across your mind “Look at me! Like me! Tell me I am good!” I ask myself this question – “ Am I asking for more ?” When I graduated from writing plain text to content writing (that’s what it’s called now a days), I felt something inside me shatter and something being built. What shattered was my attitude of being a #knowitall but what was being built was an ego which said “ Is this not enough for you? What more do you need? ” Amidst this constructive confusion, I bring to you this week’s #GURUGYAN about – hold on. Have some patience. Read it to find it out. #GURUGYAN1 – When I shifted base from FB to Insta, little did I know that they both are mischief mongers who appear as strangers during the day but have drinks together at a cheap bar during the night. Though it is a no brainer that Insta reeks of photographs where FB is a sum of all kinds including text, images, links, videos and ev
